Information on Triosyn

The Triosyn mask provides an effective barrier against 0.3 micron viruses such as Avian Flu. The mask is approved by NIOSH (National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health, part of the Center for Disease Control (CDC)). The mask utilizes resin of iodine as the protective element and is rated as “P95” mask, a higher rating than the highly touted N95 series of masks. The mask has a longer time of use than the N95 series as well.

Figure 1 shows interesting test results with the Triosyn mask ranking #1. Health Canada’s National Microbiology Laboratory conducted tests (Figure 2) with SAR against the mask. Again, the Triosyn mask finished first with zero SAR virus penetration.
